Environment, Wellbeing and Sustainable Communities

We research how interdependent environmental and social systems affect the wellbeing and sustainability of people and populations.

The group examines how people inhabit, use and alter ‘natural’, rural and urban environments in diverse places

Our research is conducted largely in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, using scientific, spatial, social scientific, and interdisciplinary approaches, and often working in collaboration with institutions and communities in our research settings.
