Sediment Core Exhibit
These sediment cores form the foundation for the work undertaken by Wiradjuri geographer and academic Professor Michael-Shawn Fletcher and his team, who extract these samples from wetlands to reveal hidden stories within their layers. The sediment cores are cased in resin and are on display at the Science Gallery at the University of Melbourne.
Entry to Science Gallery Melbourne is free. Open: Tuesday to Friday: 11am–5pm, Saturday: 11am–4pm. Monday and Sunday: Closed
