The Geology/Earth Science Program
The Geology/Earth Science Program offers engaging Earth Science workshops covering rocks, minerals, earthquakes, volcanoes, palaeontology and more. Sessions can be tailored to suit individual school needs and can be run throughout the year.
Workshops can take place as incursions (at your School) or excursions (hosted at the University of Melbourne).

Year 10 Work Experience
Want to know what it's like to be a scientist? During the Faculty of Science Year 10 Work Experience Program, you'll participate in workshops and activities in a STEM discipline of your choice! You will meet new friends and scientific role models, as well as get a taste of university life. Places are limited.

The Science Experience
Every January, year 9 and 10 students experience life as a University of Melbourne STEM student with lectures, laboratory experiments, and hands-on experiences run by our top-ranking academic staff.

University Open Day
The University of Melbourne Open Day runs in August every year, with information sessions on degrees and courses, tours, laboratory demonstrations, free liquid nitrogen ice cream, and much more. We open up our teaching spaces and laboratories to the general public to explore.
